I just want to say how much i love my janell bag ( i got the chelsea in mahogany) …i feel like a queen of my neighbourhood . The purse is a joy to carry. The purse stays on my shoulders very comfortably , unlike other brands where the straps continually fall down and feel bulky under your arm. That just isn’t so with yours , it stayed in place on my shoulders and didn’t feel at all bulky under my arm… The craftsmanship , the comfortness and stunning colors to choose from are amazing ..Can’t wait to get another !!!! If you are looking for the absolute best in expert craftsmanship and quality of leather, Janell bags is where you will find it. The distressed leather colors are beautiful. The stitching is impeccable in all of her designs. Janell is wonderful with customer service and is quick to get back to you on custom requests or any questions you may have about her products. Shipping is very fast! I have many of her one of a kind, handmade original designs with many asking me where they can find them!! So many bags! It started with the large Ashley, some years ago. That first bag sold me on the craftsmanship, design and quality of the brand. Lizzie was another purchase – beautiful, functional work bag. Two Ava’s followed – both were gifts but only one ended up being a gift LOL! The Ava holds so much as a wristlet – and it is great to grab for a quick dash out the door. Next for me was the Emma – every woman needs a good crossbody bag and this is it! Perfect size to be crossbody yet holds so much. It is a true pleasure to support a Maine business! I’m not sure, but I would guess they never sleep! Thank you for sharing your skill and your beautiful bags and for making Maine the home of Janell Bags

I purchased a Jenna bag a few weeks ago and I am very happy with it. The phone pocket on the outside is the best. It is secure and convenient. I have the large iPhone with a case and it fits in just fine. The phone is protected and easy to get to. The inside pockets are deep enough to keep what ever you put in them from falling out and the main compartment is roomy. It’s just a great bag — holds a lot without being huge. I got a cross body strap to add to it so I can carry the bag hands-free if I want to. I love having the feet on the bottom. This bag is thoughtfully designed, beautifully made and of superior quality. It’s a keeper! Happy to support a Maine local business, too.

I received my Brooklyn in Mahogany yesterday and I could not be happier! I had been looking for this exact bag to replace all of my other ‘throw away’ bags. I wanted something quality that I could have and use forever and this is the bag! The leather is absolutely beautiful! Even my husband commented on how rich the leather is. The lining, zipper and hardware are even better than I thought they would be. It is rare to say that in this day and age when so much is ordered online and you can’t feel it before you buy it. I found you through an ad in Yankee magazine and I am so happy that I did! I will be back to treat myself to another color at some point. Thank you so much!!

My Janell Chelsea bag just arrived and I am thrilled with it. I have been on a lifelong quest for the perfect bag and have purchased many beautiful items in Spain, Italy, France, and the American Southwest. Not to mention bags from well known manufacturers. This bag easily rivals them. Needless to say, this will not be my last purchase. Thank you for providing such gorgeous pieces of wearable art.
